I'm happy to be able to tell you that at least one large publishing house shares your opinion when it comes to that, and this is why I have been MIA when it comes to dumping things here.

Thank you for your comments regarding my characterisation of Alexander and Hephaistion - I dislike stick-figure characters in stories and the application of wildly inappropriate or anachronistic values to ancient individuals and societies makes me squirm. I try to avoid it in my own work as best I can, but this is of course a matter of opinion. In any case, I'm glad that what I do works for you. Thanks.
