Not fluff at all! This fits so well within your own A/H canon, lighter in touch maybe than some of your other fiction, but still so well written, with beautiful characterisation and always with that element of historical truth:

*Alexandros would always be himself, and the time would come when gods and heroes would be sculpted to look like him.*
